After several months of rigorous work, the IRF construction work is now complete. On June 18, 2025, members of the French School’s parents’ association visited the site. This was closely followed by the official handover of the project on June 25, 2025, in the presence of representatives from the client and the project management team.
From the project’s inception, particular attention was paid to the quality of execution, adherence to deadlines, and on-site safety. The construction site mobilized around thirty technicians, engineers, and workers who collaborated closely to ensure a result that met the client’s requirements.
The building handed over on June 25, 2025, will serve 3 different purposes:
– The Ground Floor will be used for elementary school maintenance, with offices and changing rooms for maintenance staff, as well as the kitchen for children’s meals.
– The First Floor will have a dual purpose: offices have been built there to accommodate members of the National Education Inspectorate for the Central Africa Zone, and a 90-seat training room for teacher training from across the Central Africa Zone.
During the visit by the parents’ association and the project’s acceptance by the client, they expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the work accomplished. A guided tour of the premises allowed participants to see for themselves the efforts made to deliver a completed project down to the smallest detail.
With the official handover of the keys, the building can now begin operation. Teams are already mobilized to ensure the installation of equipment and the welcoming of users in the coming weeks.
This was a project marked by its share of challenges, where every difficulty encountered was overcome with professionalism, rigor, and teamwork. From logistical unforeseen events to technical constraints, the project demanded a high level of responsiveness and expertise from all stakeholders.
