A KOTEL BUILDING team traveled to Dalavé to collaborate with the AOA NGO on an educational project aimed at constructing a high school building while training young Togolese through on-site training programs.
This Friday, September 13, 2024, a team from KOTEL BUILDING traveled to the locality of DALAVE for a social project with the AOA NGO.
The NGO Apprentis Orphelins de l’Afrique (AOA) is involved in several areas: Health Center, Orphanage, Education, Agricultural Cooperative.
The project in question is located in Dalavé, at the site of the school that the NGO built and has managed for several years. This school accommodates 750 students from kindergarten to ninth grade (3rd year).
AOA sought to collaborate with our company to construct a building for high school classes, aiming to expand their educational provision.
The September 13 meeting aimed to define the project's scope. The architects from ASTER (Architects Without Borders) who designed the project were present, as were members of AOA France.
It is a real pleasure for us to collaborate with AOA on this project, which places people at the heart of construction. Indeed, the overall concept for this high school building is that it will be structured around 3 on-site training programs, meaning a Franco-Togolese collaboration involving the training of young Togolese in carpentry, electricity, and bricklaying.
The project is scheduled to start in November. We look forward to sharing its progress with you as it develops.
